The largest hydropower reservoir in the South on September 4 discharged downstream with a total flow of 842m3/s

Dong Nai - The water level of Tri An hydropower reservoir on the morning of September 4th reached an elevation of 56.25m.

According to Tri An Hydropower Company, as of 8 am on September 4, the water flow to Tri An reservoir is reaching 1,090m3/s, raising the reservoir water level to 56.25m, the total discharge flow to downstream is 842m3/s, and the downstream water level is 3.8m.

Previously, electricity output on September 3rd at Tri An Hydropower Company reached more than 8.2 million kWh.

Tri An Hydropower Plant has 4 units, with a total designed capacity of 400MW. This is the largest hydropower project in the Southern region, making a great contribution to the national power grid, helping to regulate domestic water sources, production, push saline and regulate floods for the downstream area.

The downstream area of Tri An hydropower plant is an area located along the Dong Nai River basin stretching across Dong Nai City, Ho Chi Minh City.
