According to updated data at 5:05 PM on September 2, at Lai Chau reservoir, the upstream water level reached 291.58 m, 295 m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir is 697 m3/s, total discharge is 1,107 m3/s, all through the spillway dam.
Ban Chat Lake has an upstream water level of 472.05 m, 475 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake reaches 148 m3/s, total discharge volume 241 m3/s, through the spillway.
At Huoi Quang reservoir, the upstream water level is at 368.22 m, lower than the normal water level of 370 m. Water flows to the reservoir 293 m3/s, total discharge volume 367 m3/s, through the spillway.
Son La Lake recorded an upstream water level of 207.84 m, lower than the normal water level of 215 m. Inflow to the lake is 1,793 m3/s.
At Hoa Binh reservoir, the upstream water level reached 106.91 m, 117 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir is 86 m3/s, total discharge is 600 m3/s, through the spillway dam.
Meanwhile, Thac Ba Lake has an upstream water level of 54.82 m, lower than the normal water level of 58 m. Water flow to the lake is 225 m3/s, total discharge is 225 m3/s.
