Accordingly, for households directly affected in housing and households that must be urgently relocated (except for households with revolutionary contributions and households of martyrs' relatives), Lao Cai province will support 100 million VND/household/household for households whose houses have collapsed, drifted, completely collapsed or are no longer habitable and must be rebuilt.
For households whose houses are severely damaged and need to be repaired, support will be 25 million VND/household/household and support will be 80 million VND/household/household for households that have to urgently relocate their houses according to the decision of the competent authority (must rebuild the house at a new location).
For families of people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives whose housing is directly affected or who have to relocate urgently, Lao Cai province will provide support of 120 million VND/household/household for families whose houses have collapsed, drifted, completely collapsed or have to be rebuilt.
Maximum support of 30 million VND/household/household for households whose houses are severely damaged and need to be repaired. Support of 100 million VND/household/household for households that must urgently relocate their houses according to the decision of competent authorities.
The implementation of support policies for households whose housing was damaged by storm No. 3 must be urgent, targeted, and in accordance with policies, and completed before December 31, 2024.
According to the statistics, due to the impact of storm No. 3, the whole province currently has 6,730 households with damaged houses, of which: 854 houses were completely damaged; 1,603 houses were severely damaged; and 4,273 houses had to be urgently evacuated from dangerous areas.
