On the morning of October 29, while many areas of Da Nang city were still deeply flooded due to prolonged heavy rain, under the direct direction of Major General Nguyen Huu Hop, Director of Da Nang City Police, the Logistics Department urgently organized forces and vehicles to support the pregnant woman Nguyen Thi H.T (born in 1995), residing in Ha Nha commune, to overcome the flood and go to Hoa Vang General Hospital safely.
The mother is 40 weeks pregnant, showing signs of labor while most of the roads in the Ha Nha area are cut off and deeply flooded. Upon receiving the information, the City Police Medical Team quickly coordinated to deploy an emergency evacuation plan, ensuring absolute safety for pregnant women.
Thanks to the timely intervention and high sense of responsibility of the Da Nang City Police force, the pregnant woman was taken to the hospital safely and received timely medical care in complex weather conditions, with unpredictable floods.
At the same time, in Tra Tap commune, doctors Ho Thi Hieu and Bui Xuan Bang - Tra Tap Commune Health Station (Tra Cang) went to the maternal home in Mo Lang roof, village 5, Tra Tap commune (about 5km from the station) to help successfully delivered a 3.2kg baby girl.
