On May 28, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Na Ri district said that by 4:00 p.m. the same day, the search for the victim who fell into the death hole on National Highway 3B, through Kim Lu commune, had not yet had results.
The authorities used specialized cameras to search the bottom of the hole, and have deployed continuous water drainage for the past two days.
However, due to the hole being 8 - 12m deep, with muddy water and strong underground water, the search was still facing obstacles and had no results yet.

"We are currently studying another option, possibly to scoop up soil and rocks from the holes," said Ms. Nguyet.
At the scene, the hole continued to sink, with additional underground water creating obstacles to observation and access.
Talking to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Duong Quang Thai - Na Ri District Military Command said that the water flowing continuously and the large amount of frog's jaw stones made it difficult to pump water.
In this situation, the authorities have re-evaluated the geological structure and discussed more feasible options to ensure the safety of the rescue forces.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 9:34 p.m. on May 26, at the subsidence point on National Highway 3B through Hiep Luc village, Kim Lu commune (Na Ri, Bac Kan), a motorbike driver fell down a barrier and fell into a deep hole.
As soon as they received the news, the authorities were present at the scene and organized a search, but so far the victim's whereabouts have not been found.
