According to Lai Chau Provincial Police, the fire broke out at around 5:30 a.m., the fire broke out from a garment store, then spread to a furniture shopping mall and a house. Because the two stores and houses contained many flammable materials, the fire broke out fiercely.
Immediately after receiving the report from the people, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police urgently deployed forces and vehicles (including 1 command vehicle, 1 fire truck, and 1 vehicle carrying 25 officers and soldiers to quickly approach the scene of the fire.
At the scene, believing that the fire was at risk of continuing to spread to the surrounding areas, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police coordinated with local forces to deploy measures to prevent the fire from spreading to minimize damage.

After about an hour of firefighting, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished. Although there were no human casualties, the fire burned down many properties inside the two stores and houses.
Currently, the authorities are continuing to investigate, clarify the cause of the fire and count the damage.
