Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee - Tran Chi Cuong assigned the People's Committees of La Eee, La Dee, Dac Pring, A Vuong, Tay Giang, Hung Son communes; the Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works of Da Nang; the City Land Fund Development Center to urgently coordinate in removing obstacles and ensuring a clean site for Da Nang Power Company to deploy the power grid to serve school construction. Request stable and safe power supply for 6 ethnic boarding schools to be put into operation before the beginning of August 2026.
Regarding the source of investment capital for electricity supply to residential areas, resettlement areas in rural, mountainous, border, and island areas, city leaders agreed with the proposed content of the Department of Industry and Trade. The Department is assigned to take the lead in reviewing needs, developing plans, estimating total costs, and capital sources; send to the Department of Finance for inspection, synthesis, and advice according to regulations.
The Department of Construction presides over the study of relevant legal regulations, responding to the proposal of Da Nang Power Company on the cost of relocating power grid infrastructure when renovating and expanding traffic roads. Project writers must consult the electricity sector for the power supply item.
The Department of Industry and Trade monitors and urges the handover of electrical works according to regulations. In case of delays affecting the safety and security of power sources, the investor is responsible.
Six boarding and semi-boarding primary and secondary schools are built in A Vuong, Tay Giang and Hung Son communes with 30 classes/school and 1,000 students/school; Boarding and semi-boarding primary and secondary schools in Dak Pring, La De, La Eee border communes have 17 classes/school, with a capacity of 600 students/school.
These are projects implemented by Da Nang City according to Notice of Conclusion No. 81-TB/TW dated July 18, 2025 of the Politburo on the policy of investing in building schools for border communes. These projects have a total investment of more than 1,500 billion VND from the central budget, with a scale of 141 classes, meeting the learning needs of 4,800 students in the city's border area, expected to be completed in 2026.
