On October 14, according to information from Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV), the consortium of contractors has mobilized 102 personnel and 12 equipment and machinery to simultaneously deploy 8 construction teams of package 2.10 - Border Guard of Long Thanh International Airport (abbreviated as Long Thanh Airport) outside the 1,810 hectare area.
Currently, the contractor consortium is implementing the excavation of the project foundation, the construction of concrete for the M200 foundation, the construction of reinforced concrete for the foundation, and the construction of brick walls.
This package has a contractor, the Chau Viet - Dai Viet joint venture, which started construction on October 25, 2024, with a construction period of 12 months.
However, the adjustment schedule will be completed synchronously along with other packages before December 19, 2025.
Previously, the fence within 1,810 hectares of phase 1 of Long Thanh airport (package 2.4) was 100% completed with a length of 7,856 m.
The People's Committee of Dong Nai province has proposed to soon complete the construction of a protective fence for the entire 5,000 ha area of the Long Thanh airport project, with a length of about 30 km.
The solution is to build fences around the Long Thanh airport project to prevent re-encroachment after clearing the land.
