On January 10, information from the Nghe An Department of Home Affairs said that the Provincial People's Committee has just approved the list of subjects implementing the policy of streamlining the payroll of Vinh city.
Accordingly, 9 officials and civil servants will retire early from January 1, including: Mr. Tran Quang Dai - Chairman of Trung Do Ward People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang - Vice Chairman of Hung Chinh Commune People's Committee; Mr. Hoang Dinh Hung - Party Secretary, Chairman of Quang Trung Ward People's Council; Ms. Vo Thi Tra Lan, civil servant of Office - Statistics, Hong Son Ward People's Committee.
Mr. Luong Van Quyen, Cultural - Social officer of Quang Trung ward; Ms. Dang Phuoc Dai - Military Commander, Nghi Lien commune People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - President of Le Mao ward Women's Union.
Mr. Duong Hai Long, civil servant of Land - Construction - Agriculture and Environment of Nghi Lien commune; Mr. Thai Thanh Ha, Head of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Department of Vinh city.
Previously, two officials of the City Party Committee, Mr. Pham Trung Thanh - an expert of the City Party Committee Office, asked to retire 5 years before the age and Mr. Le Duc Tho - an expert of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Board asked to retire 27 months before the age.
According to Resolution No. 1243/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Cua Lo town and 4 communes of Nghi Loc district were merged into Vinh city.
Vinh City has established 4 new wards on the basis of 4 old communes, and merged Hong Son and Vinh Tan wards into Vinh Tan ward; merged Doi Cung, Le Mao, Quang Trung wards into Quang Trung ward. It is expected that after the merger, Vinh City will have nearly 110 redundant cadres, civil servants and public employees.
According to preliminary statistics from 7 districts, cities and towns in Nghe An province, up to now, 123 cadres, civil servants and public employees have voluntarily written applications for early retirement.
