Editor-in-Chief of Dak Lak Newspaper asks for early retirement

Dak Lak - The Editor-in-Chief of Dak Lak Newspaper has sent a request to the competent authority for early retirement.

On the afternoon of January 8, Mr. Dinh Xuan Toan - Editor-in-Chief of Dak Lak Newspaper confirmed that he had submitted an application for early retirement to the Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for consideration.

Mr. Dinh Xuan Toan has 3 years and 7 months left of work before retiring.

"My personal resignation is due to the common mission and this is also a normal story. My biggest wish is to create conditions for young brothers to strive and devote themselves to their work," Mr. Toan shared.

Over the past years, Mr. Toan and the Dak Lak Newspaper have completed all assigned tasks. At Dak Lak Newspaper, in addition to Mr. Toan, the Head of the Culture and Social Department and a reporter also applied for early retirement.

The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has planned to merge the Provincial Radio and Television Station with the Dak Lak Newspaper into the Dak Lak Provincial Media Center. The new unit will take over the functions and tasks of the two agencies as they were before the merger.

Dak Lak Newspaper currently has 40 staff (21 positions), Dak Lak Radio and Television Station has 140 staff (99 positions).

According to the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee’s Organizing Committee, in addition to Mr. Toan, there are many other cases that have also submitted applications asking for early retirement. Such as the Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, heads of departments in media agencies, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations, etc.

The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee is synthesizing to report to the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee for consideration and decision.
