Da Nang City People's Council has just issued Resolution No. 46/2025/NQ-HDND (dated December 11, 2025) on extending the implementation time of health insurance (HI) support policies for ethnic minorities (ETHNIC MINORITIES) in the city.
According to the resolution, Da Nang continues to implement the health insurance support policy according to Resolution No. 04/2022/NQ-HDND of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council (old), which has been amended and supplemented in Resolution No. 11/2025/NQ-HDND, until the end of June 30, 2026. Resolution 46 takes effect from December 31, 2025.
The extension of the implementation time aims to ensure that health insurance policies are not interrupted, helping ethnic minorities to be examined and treated in a timely manner, for the right subjects, within the right scope, in accordance with the regulations of the Government and the Prime Minister on zoning ethnic minorities and communes in regions I, II, III.
The policy also contributes to ensuring the balance of the city's budget in the period 2026-2030, while creating conditions for ethnic minorities to be supported 100% of health insurance contributions, improving access to primary health services, improving health, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction and building new rural areas.
It is expected that the total cost of implementing health insurance support policies for ethnic minorities in Da Nang City as of June 30, 2026 is about more than 3.7 billion VND, with 13,669 people benefiting.
