The program attracted the participation of more than 3,000 athletes who are leaders, civil servants, public employees of Party agencies, governments, fronts, mass organizations, departments, agencies, branches, agencies, enterprises, cadres, soldiers in the armed forces, students, middle and elderly people, and sports clubs in the city.
Athletes walk the distance starting from City Theater Square to Quang Trung Street, through the City Exhibition House, to Nguyen Duc Canh Street, to Tran Phu Street, turn through Minh Khai Street, to Tran Hung Dao Street and return to City Theater Square.
The program was responded to simultaneously in communes, wards, and special zones throughout the city according to the national general time frame. Hong Bang, An Bien, Gia Vien, and Le Chan wards did not organize the program locally, each locality sent 250 people to participate at the point organized by the city.
With the message "10 billion green steps - For a sustainable Vietnam", the program attracts a large number of officials, soldiers, and people to participate, creating a unified movement nationwide. Thereby, contributing to establishing a Guinness World record for the number of administrative units participating in responding to the Net Zero goal (net zero emissions); spreading the message of solidarity, health training, environmental protection and joining hands to build a green and sustainable Vietnam.
