In order to ensure traffic order and safety during the organization of the "Joining Vietnam to Advance" walking program in 2026, the Traffic Police Department announces that from 5:00 AM to 7:30 AM on August 30th, all vehicles are prohibited from participating in traffic on the following routes: Quang Trung street, section from Quang Trung intersection - after Exhibition street to Quang Trung - Hoang Van Thu intersection; Hoang Van Thu street, section from Hoang Van Thu - Ky Dong intersection to Hoang Van Thu - Cau Dat intersection; Dinh Tien Hoang street, section from Dinh Tien Hoang - Phan Chu Trinh intersection to Dinh Tien Hoang - Tran Phu intersection; Tran Hung Dao street, section from Tran Hung Dao - Minh Khai intersection to Tran Hung Dao - Dinh Tien Hoang intersection; Nguyen Duc Canh street, section from Nguyen Duc Canh intersection - after Exhibition street to Nguyen Duc Canh - Cau Dat intersection; Tran Phu street, section from Cau Dat - Tran Phu intersection to Tran Phu - Minh Khai inters
During the traffic diversion period, vehicles participating in traffic that need to move through the above area proactively choose alternative routes, comply with the traffic sign system and guidance and regulation of the Traffic Police force and functional forces. The organization of temporary traffic diversion aims to create favorable conditions for the "Together Vietnam Advances" walking program in 2026 to take place safely, while ensuring traffic order and safety and limiting congestion in the city center area.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, it is expected that more than 3,000 people from agencies, units, armed forces and people from all walks in Hai Phong City will participate in the "Joining Vietnam to Advance" walking program in 2026 on the morning of August 30th. The program will take place in the time frame from 5:00 AM to 7:30 AM on August 30th, with a city-level bridge point at City Theater Square and the central strip of Hai Phong. The walking distance is about 2km. The route starts from City Theater Square, through Quang Trung, Nguyen Duc Canh, Tran Phu, Minh Khai, Tran Hung Dao streets before returning to the starting point.
