On July 6-7, at Happyland Tourist Area, Moc Chau Ward People's Committee, Moc Chau Orchid Association in coordination with orchid associations and gardeners of provinces and cities organized the Moc Chau Orchid Exhibition Festival 2026, attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit and experience.

More than 500 orchid pots from 15 provinces and cities are displayed at the festival, creating a space filled with colors and fragrance.
In particular, many native orchid species of Son La and the Northwest region such as foxtails, squirrels, civets, eucalyptus, chicken thighs, phi diep... release soft flower clusters on wooden shelves and tree trunks, showing off their rustic but attractive beauty in the Moc Chau plateau space.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang, Chairman of the Moc Chau Orchid Association, said that orchid plants have been domesticated by local people since the 1990s. To date, Moc Chau has over 40 gardens with hundreds of different orchid varieties, many of which are characteristic of the Northwest mountains and forests and have high landscape value as well as economic value.
Through the festival, we want to promote the beauty of native orchids, bring Moc Chau's typical products closer to tourists and contribute to the development of ecotourism and experiential tourism. This is also an opportunity for orchid lovers to meet, exchange care techniques and connect to develop the market," Mr. Quang shared.

Participating in the festival for the second time, Mr. Hoang Van Cong, owner of Hoang Cong Orchid Garden (Thanh Hoa), said that the garden brings many unique orchid varieties to introduce to flower lovers. "This is a useful playground for gardeners to exchange, learn and promote the unique values of Vietnamese orchids," he said.

On his first visit, Mr. Vu The Cuong, a tourist from Co Ma commune, Son La province, was impressed with hundreds of brilliant orchid pots arranged harmoniously in the green space of the plateau.
According to him, the festival not only brings the opportunity to admire the beauty of native orchid pots in the Northwest but also creates more unique tourism products, contributing to attracting tourists to Moc Chau, exploring nature and local cultural identity.
