More than 600 people in Thai Nguyen asked to retire early

    During the process of streamlining the apparatus in Thai Nguyen, many cadres, civil servants and workers have expressed their wishes and registered to retire early.

    According to the Department of Home Affairs of Thai Nguyen province, currently, this locality has 638 civil servants, public employees, and workers in the government sector who wish to and register for early retirement as well as leave work in the cases specified in Decree No. 177/2024/ND-CP and 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government.

    The authorities of Thai Nguyen province will review each case specifically before approving or disapproving.

    Meanwhile, the number of cadres and civil servants in the Party bloc who wish to retire early and register their retirement is not large.

    Previously, in the process of streamlining and rearranging the political system of Thai Nguyen province, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Thai Hanh and Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Quynh Huong submitted applications for early retirement.

    In some districts, many officials who are still of working age also apply for early retirement.
