The program was organized by the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches (BQL) in coordination with other units.
The activity is within the framework of the program " mo rong bien tourism season 2025" and also aims to promote raising awareness of people and tourists in saying no to plastic waste, protecting the environment and ecosystem at Da Nang tourist beaches.
The program includes main activities such as launching the marine environmental protection model "Sea needs you - you need you", calling for the cooperation of agencies, sectors, unions, tourism exploitation units at the beach and generations of students and youth union members in propaganda work through a series of environmental sanitation and education activities to raise public awareness in protecting and cleaning the marine environment.
In addition, there is also an environmental running activity with the theme "Green Sea Journey" on the Ha Khe Square - Mieu Lang Thuyen - Phu Loc Canal route; organize a model of "exchanging garbage for trees" and cleaning in the sandbank area from Ton That Dam culvert to Ha Khe Square.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Dai Nghia - Deputy Head of the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches said that the program was organized with the purpose of calling for and connecting the community to say no to plastic bags and plastic waste, raising public awareness of waste classification, increasing the attention of industry levels on distinguishing waste types, guiding reuse with some resource waste.
