On the afternoon of March 29, the Da Nang Cham Sculpture Museum officially opened the photo exhibition "Hai Phong is the bright light of the heritage land". The exhibition displays more than 200 valuable images and documents, introducing cultural heritage, history and development achievements of Hai Phong city. This event marks the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City, the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong City and especially the 65th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong City and Da Nang City Reunification Day.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Nguyet Nga, Director of Hai Phong Museum and Library, emphasized the significance of the exhibition in promoting cultural heritage, promoting tourism and strengthening cooperative relations between the two cities. According to Ms. Nga, the exhibition is an opportunity to introduce to Da Nang people and visitors a Hai Phong rich in cultural traditions, dynamic in economic development and always looking towards the future.
The exhibition is divided into three main parts. Part one "colors of Hai Phong marine cultural heritage" introduces unique features of Hai Phong marine culture through images of archaeological sites, traditional festivals and the daily life of people in the coastal areas.
Part two "Hai Phong - The position and strength in the era of rising up" focuses on the history of formation and development of Hai Phong, affirming the position and potential of the port city in the period of international integration. The third part "Hai Phong - Da Nang: The meaning of 65 years of love" emphasizes the solidarity and attachment between Hai Phong and Da Nang over the past 65 years, demonstrated through cooperation in many fields.
Mr. Ho Tan Tuan, Director of the Da Nang Cham Sculpture Museum, also expressed his joy at this event. He affirmed that the close relationship between Da Nang and Hai Phong has been nurtured over many years, and this exhibition is a testament to that close and lasting affection. He hopes the exhibition will contribute to promoting cooperation between the two localities in many fields, especially culture and tourism.
