On August 11, Hanoi City Police informed about a fire that occurred at 210 Yen Son, Chuong My ward.
Previously, at about 5 pm on August 10, the Command Information Center of Hanoi City Police received a fire report at a production workshop at the above address.
Immediately upon receiving the information, the Command Information Center of Hanoi City Police urgently dispatched 6 fire trucks, 1 truck and 38 officers and soldiers of the Fire and Rescue Team, Area No. 4, 15, 28 - Fire and Rescue Police Department to the scene to organize firefighting; dispatched ward police forces and local forces to organize security and order in the fire area.
Along with that, the Command of the Fire and Rescue Police Department mobilized 2 command vehicles, 1 truck carrying vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene to directly direct firefighting and rescue work.
Immediately upon approaching the scene, through reconnaissance, the Fire and Rescue Police force determined that no one was trapped in the fire.
However, the fire has grown large, the fire spread quickly, in the area there are many flammable materials, generating a lot of smoke and toxic gases.

The fire command urgently directed officers and soldiers to exploit surrounding water sources, use breathing tubes, deploy many attacks; at the same time, mobilized excavators and bulldozers to dismantle construction components, creating conditions for firefighters to access deep into the fire area, organize to prevent fire from spreading and extinguish the fire.
After about 45 minutes of urgent efforts to extinguish the fire, at about 5:45 pm on the same day, the fire was completely controlled. The forces continued to deploy cooling components and extinguishing embers, thereby protecting and preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent residential areas and factories.
The fire did not cause any casualties. The cause of the fire and property damage are being investigated, statistically analyzed, and clarified by functional agencies.
