In 2024, Hoa Vang district increased 2 more type IV urban standards compared to 2023 (an increase of 5.83 points compared to 2023). Up to now, the district has 43/63 standards achieved, 4/63 standards with low achievement, 16/63 standards not achieved (in 2023, there were 8 standards not achieved). The total self-assessment score is 66/75 minimum points (an increase of 5.83 points compared to 2023).
Regarding the review of criteria for communes to become wards, up to now, 3 communes (Hoa Phuoc, Hoa Son, Hoa Lien) have met 8/8 criteria, 2 communes (Hoa Chau, Hoa Khuong) have met 7/8 criteria, 4 communes (Hoa Tien, Hoa Phong, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Ninh) have met 6/8 criteria, 2 communes (Hoa Phu, Hoa Bac) have met 4/18 criteria. The standards are low and not met, weak in five groups, especially urban infrastructure.
In 2024, the city will also allocate investment capital for 18 budget projects of Hoa Vang district to prepare for investment and implement investment in various fields. The implementation of urban traffic roads according to the motto of the state and the people working together has received the people's consensus and response.
At the same time, the investment policy for 3 parks and walking gardens in 3 communes of Hoa Son, Hoa Chau, Hoa Phong was agreed upon and investment preparation was continued in the communes of Hoa Phuoc, Hoa Lien, Hoa Nhon, and Hoa Khuong. As for other green parks and walking gardens, investment in trees, lawns, and other items, the communes were assigned to proactively mobilize investment from socialized sources for implementation and management.
Regarding the implementation of urban road construction according to the motto of the State and the People working together, promoting propaganda and mobilizing people to join hands, contribute, donate land, and hand over land to build urban roads. Most localities and people support and have selected 3 roads for investment, of which 4 projects are allocated capital to be implemented in 2023 and 2024, 9 projects are allocated capital to be invested in 2024.

With the implementation of many new breakthrough policies and mechanisms of the Central Government and the City, it requires high determination, strong and drastic actions of the entire political system."
According to Mr. Thang, Hoa Vang District needs to make efforts to overcome difficulties and limitations to best complete the targets, striving to build Hoa Vang into a type IV urban area, an ecological urban area rich in identity, creating a breakthrough in 2025 - 2030.
