There are only a few days left until the most exciting main festival days of the Ky Cung - Ta Phu Festival (January 26-27).
On many central streets such as Tran Dang Ninh, Ba Trieu, Tam Thanh, Nhi Thanh... people have started setting up tents and decorating houses to prepare for the festival season.
Along with the bustling festival atmosphere, a reality also quickly appeared, the hotel and guesthouse system in the central area was almost fully booked.

On online booking platforms such as Booking or Traveloka, a similar situation is also happening.
During the period from January 21st to 27th - the time of the festival, most hotels in the city center are fully booked.
Many tourists coming to Lang Son on the main festival day fall into the situation of "searching hard but still no room left".

While many tourists are struggling to find a place to stay overnight, a warm image appears in the middle of the crowded festival season.
In some central wards such as Ky Lua, Tam Thanh, Dong Kinh, Luong Van Tri... many households have proactively opened their houses, ready to invite tourists to stay temporarily for free.
On social networking groups of Lang Son people, many posts appeared with simple content: "The house still has sleeping space, anyone who doesn't have a room can come over to rest temporarily".
Talking to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Vu Phuong Uyen (Tam Thanh ward) said that her family has a newly built house in Phu Loc area, which has not yet been put into use, about 10 minutes walk from the festival venue.

Seeing many people coming from afar to watch the festival but not finding accommodation, she decided to open the door for support.
The house has 3 large rooms and a living room. Because she did not have time to put up a bed, she prepared a mat and clean blanket so that guests could rest temporarily for a few days of the festival.
Houses are left empty and not used, while many people from afar come to the festival but have no place to stay, it is very difficult. If you can help, just let everyone take a temporary break to conveniently go to the festival," Ms. Uyen shared.
According to her, letting tourists stay is completely free. Tourists only stay for a few days, so preparing more mats and blankets is enough for everyone to have a place to lie down and feel secure to participate in the festival.
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Van Anh (Ky Lua ward) also proactively opened her family's business to support tourists during peak days.

According to Ms. Van Anh, because hotels and guesthouses in the city center were almost fully booked from very early, many tourists came to Lang Son during the festival but could not find accommodation.
Therefore, she decided to reserve space at her spa facility on the new Ba Trieu street to support temporary accommodation for customers.
The spa can arrange about 10 accommodations. Rooms on the upper floors are prepared with blankets, sheets, pillows, mattresses; closed rooms with hot and cold water for guests to live in. If necessary, the shower area can also be arranged with additional temporary accommodation.
I just simply think that if I can help tourists have clean and safe accommodation during the holidays, I am ready. It's better than many people having to sleep in cars or wander around looking for rooms at night," Ms. Van Anh said.
Ky Cung - Ta Phu Festival takes place from the 22nd to the 27th day of the first lunar month every year, considered the largest festival of Lang Son province, attracting a large number of people and tourists from all directions.
Amidst the crowded flow of people during the festival season, the hospitality and affection of Lang people have become a simple beauty, which many people remember forever after the spring trip at the beginning of the year.
