Lang Son bans roads to serve Ky Cung - Ta Phu Festival

Lang Son - The Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of the Provincial Police has announced a plan to temporarily ban the Ky Cung - Ta Phu Festival road.

Specifically, on March 10, 2026 (ie, the 22nd day of the first lunar month), from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, vehicles will be restricted from moving through the Ky Cung bridge area and some central streets such as: 17/10, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Nguyen Du, Ba Trieu, Phai Ve, Le Loi, Bac Son, Tran Phu, Tran Dang Ninh, Minh Khai... according to the instructions of functional forces.

From 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM on the same day, functional forces temporarily prohibited all vehicles from circulating through many roads around the area where the main rituals of the festival took place.

The prohibited routes include:

Bac Son Street (from Tran Phu - Bac Son intersection towards Le Loi)

Minh Khai Street (from Minh Khai - Le Lai intersection towards Ky Lua market)

Tran Dang Ninh Street (from Tran Dang Ninh - Minh Khai intersection towards Ky Cung bridge)

Hung Vuong Street (from Hung Vuong - Tran Hung Dao intersection towards Ky Cung bridge)

17/10 Street, Nguyen Tri Phuong

Nguyen Du Street (section from Phai Ve - Nguyen Du intersection towards Le Loi)

Phai Ve Street (from Phai Ve - Ba Trieu intersection towards Nguyen Du)

In addition, on March 14, 2026 (ie, the 26th day of the first lunar month), from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, functional forces will restrict passenger cars with more than 16 seats and trucks with more than 3.5 tons from National Highway 1 and National Highway 4B to the central wards of the city.

From 5 pm to 12 pm on the same day, all vehicles are temporarily prohibited from entering Tran Dang Ninh street (section from Tran Dang Ninh - Tam Thanh intersection to Tran Dang Ninh - Minh Khai intersection).

On March 15, 2026 (ie, the 27th day of the first lunar month) - the end of the festival, from 6 am until the end of the festival, passenger cars with more than 16 seats and trucks with more than 3.5 tons will continue to be banned from moving from National Highway 1, National Highway 4B and DT234 (old National Highway 1A) into the central wards.

Especially during the time frame from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, the road ban plan is applied similarly to March 10.

To reduce traffic pressure, functional forces also arranged many centralized parking spots for tourists.

Accordingly, passenger cars with more than 16 seats and trucks with more than 3.5 tons will be parked at Mai Pha resettlement area, Nam Hoang Dong urban area, North bus station, South bus station and resettlement areas N18, N19, N20.

Other vehicles can be parked at Dong Kinh Stadium (Ba Trieu Street), Sports Center (Le Loi Street), Hung Vuong Street or Phu Loc I, II, III, IV urban areas on Ly Thuong Kiet Street.

The Traffic Police Department of Lang Son Provincial Police said that during the festival (from January 21 to 27 of the lunar calendar), functional forces will flexibly regulate and divert vehicles to prevent traffic congestion.

Functional agencies also recommend that people and tourists follow the instructions of traffic control forces; prioritize parking at arranged parking spots, and limit moving into the central area when not necessary to ensure that the festival activities take place safely and conveniently.
