In the afternoon of June 19, before the opening of the 2026 National Press Festival at the Hai Phong City Conference - Performance Center, the atmosphere in the event area became bustling with the presence of a large number of journalists, reporters, editors, delegates and visitors from many provinces and cities across the country.
Right from the early afternoon, the National Press Festival 2026 area was bustling with visitors. At the booths, a large number of journalists, delegates and the public were excited to visit, take photos, learn about multi-platform press products and new technology applications in press activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere before the opening ceremony.
Many booths are modernly designed, applying digital technology, attracting the attention of visitors.
Outside the main stage area, service forces, volunteers and the organizing committee also urgently completed the reception and guidance of delegates and ensured security and order for the opening ceremony. A bustling and exciting atmosphere spread throughout the center campus, creating a true festival for journalists.
The 2026 National Press Festival takes place from June 19 to 21, organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association in coordination with the People's Committee of Hai Phong City, towards celebrating the 101st anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026).
The event gathered nearly 100 central and local press agencies from 34 provinces and cities across the country, with many exhibitions, professional exchanges, press technology application and professional forums.
The National Press Festival is not only an opportunity to honor the achievements of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism but also a space for exchange between journalists and the public, contributing to spreading the good values of journalism in the new development stage of the country.
