The 2025 National Newspaper Association ended impressively, opening up new development expectations for the press

The 2025 National Newspaper Association has highlighted the contributions and strong development of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press over the past 100 years.

This afternoon (6.21), in Hanoi, the 2025 National Newspaper Association with the theme "Vietnam Press - Trung Thuong, Creative, bravery, innovation for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland" closed after 3 days of exciting activities, attracting the attention of many press agencies and the public.

The closing ceremony was attended by members of the Party Central Committee: Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh; Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Pham Tat Thang; General Director of the Voice of Vietnam Do Tien Sy.

Also attending were Mr. Le Hai Binh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Phan Xuan Thuy; leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association and representatives of the leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, press agencies, Journalists Associations at all levels; veteran journalists and the press-loving public.

This year's National Newspaper Association has more than 124 central and local press units participating, with nearly 130 exhibition booths of special press from popular to professional newspapers and magazines, of major press training institutions, covering all aspects of economic-political-cultural life - society - national security - foreign affairs department of the country. Many press agencies will present multi-platform press products, applying new technologies such as AI, 3D modeling, holofan, virtual reality...

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association - said that through exhibition booths, exhibitions, professional activities, culture, and art, the National Newspaper Association has highlighted the contributions and strong development of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press over the past 100 years, while promoting press products, labor and creativity achievements of journalists - students of the Vietnam Journalists Association across the country.

One of the most outstanding points of the 2025 Newspaper Association is the clear implementation of digital transformation trends and technology application in journalism. Many agencies have brought multimedia press products, new technology applications such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and enhanced virtual reality to attract readers, showing the proactiveness and determination of the press in keeping up with the development pace of advanced technology in the world.

thematic forums on artificial intelligence in journalism, digital journalism human resources, journalism economics... have attracted great attention, proving that these are issues that we are struggling with and finding solutions to.

In addition to providing journalists with many quality professional activities, the National Newspaper Association in 2025 also brings the public with elaborate and unique staged art programs. The events were broadcast live on national stations, spread over hundreds of press agencies of departments, ministries, branches, unions and local press across the country.

Within the framework of the 2025 National Newspaper Association, the Organizing Committee and the Award Council voted and decided to: award 5 A prizes, 7 B prizes, 16 C prizes, 19 Encouragement prizes for the Impressive Exhibition Center award; award 3 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 12 C prizes for the Impressive evenings and Activities award within the framework of the Press Association; award 8 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 20 C prizes, 15 Encouragement prizes for the Impressive Journalism Product award. Lao Dong Newspaper won the Encouragement Award for Impressive Exhibition Gian.

The Organizing Committee also awarded Certificates "contributing to the success of the National Newspaper Association 2025 - Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day" to collectives, units and individuals; Certificates to entrepreneurs and enterprises "Accompanying the National Newspaper Association 2025 - Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day".
