This is one of the events to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 – June 28, 2026) and is a highlight in the series of events, exhibitions and Media Awards on Human Rights in Vietnam in 2026.
Photo and video exhibition "Happy Vietnam" takes place at the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum - Library, Ha Long ward, Quang Ninh province, from June 26-28, 2026.
The exhibition introduces to viewers 200 outstanding photo and video works that have won awards or entered the Final Round out of a total of more than 40,000 works participating in the Human Rights Media Award "Happy Vietnam" over the past 3 years.
This is an annual award organized annually by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to honor outstanding authors and works who have made positive contributions to human rights communication in Vietnam.

The Award has continuously developed, grown and spread throughout the country and internationally. In 2025, the Award received more than 17,000 entries, 1.7 times more than in 2024 and 2.3 times more than in 2023, gradually affirming the position of a meaningful communication activity, contributing to spreading humanistic values, images of happy, developing and constantly rising Vietnamese people.
In particular, the "Vietnam Happy Fest 2025" event, including the "Happy Vietnam" Exhibition, was honored as one of the 10 typical cultural, information, sports and tourism events of 2025.
The works in the exhibition vividly, truthfully and emotionally reflect all aspects of the country's political, economic, cultural, and social life; recording everyday moments, compassionate actions, sharing spirit, and outstanding achievements in Vietnam's development process.
Through the artistic language of photography and video, the works bring audiences a multi-dimensional perspective on life, depicting the image of a peaceful, stable, dynamicly developing Vietnam; where human rights are always respected, guaranteed and promoted. Each work is a story about happiness, about the desire to rise up and is an affirmation that Vietnam's happiness is built from peace, from love, from solidarity and from the simplest things.
The exhibition is not only an opportunity to honor outstanding authors and works but also contributes to raising community awareness about human rights; encouraging the participation of all classes of people in promoting the image of Vietnam to international friends.
