Hai Phong - On the afternoon of May 2nd, the City Police said that functional agencies are conducting scene examination to investigate the cause of the fire in An Phong ward.

At 10:12 am on May 2nd, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Area 4 (Fire and Rescue Police Department) received a fire report from An Phong Ward Police, and mobilized vehicles and officers and soldiers to go on duty.

At the scene, the fire occurred in a resident's house, the risk of further fire spreading to neighboring areas is very high. Faced with the complexity of the incident, Team Area 4 coordinated with specialized Fire Prevention and Fighting forces of An Duong Industrial Park and Trang Due Industrial Park to deploy plans to encircle the fire.

After 30 minutes of efforts to deploy fire fighting formations, the forces successfully controlled and completely extinguished the fire. The soldiers continued to spray water to cool down the scene to prevent the risk of fire reigniting.

Initially, it was determined that the fire did not cause any casualties, property damage is being statistically determined. Currently, the Fire and Rescue Police Department is coordinating with functional agencies to conduct scene examination to investigate and clarify the cause of the fire.
