According to initial information, at about 5:05 am on the same day, in Suoi Cat - Cam An area (Cam An commune), an unidentified man, wearing a hat, carrying a backpack, sat in the middle of the railway track.
At this time, the SNT2 train was traveling in the direction from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang. Although the barrier system had been lowered and the traffic lights were continuously warning, the man still did not comply with traffic safety orders.
As a result, train SNT2 collided with this person, causing the victim to die on the spot. Immediately after the incident occurred, the train stopped to coordinate in handling the scene.
According to images from the area security camera, the man showed unusual signs when sitting in the middle of the railway while the train was approaching. Khanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with Cam An Commune Police to verify the victim's identity and clarify the cause of the incident.
