Khanh Hoa - The locality has just announced the election results with 67 delegates elected for the 2026-2031 term.

On March 19, news from the Election Commission of Khanh Hoa province just issued Resolution No. 138 announcing the results of the election of Provincial People's Council deputies for the 2026–2031 term according to each constituency and Resolution No. 139 announcing the official list of winning candidates.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Election Commission, the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026–2031 term in the province was successful, ensuring democracy, compliance with the law, safety and on schedule.

This is an election taking place in the context of the 80th anniversary of the first General Election of our country, and also the first time organized after implementing the 2-level local government model, which is of particular political significance.

The success of the election shows the close leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels; the synchronous involvement of the entire political system; and the spirit of responsibility and mastery of the people.

The whole province has 1,123 polling stations. In which, 1 station belonging to the 5th Naval Special Forces Brigade (Dong Hai ward) organized early elections on March 5, 2026; 20/22 stations belonging to the Truong Sa special zone organized early elections on March 8, 2026. Thus, there are still 1,020 stations simultaneously organizing elections on March 15, 2026, in accordance with regulations.

Preparation work was deployed synchronously and methodically, closely following the direction of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee.

The conditions for facilities, human resources and organizational plans were carefully prepared, ensuring the best service for the election day. The atmosphere of the election took place democratically, seriously, and in accordance with legal regulations.

Voters throughout the province participated with a high sense of responsibility, fully exercising their rights and citizens' obligations. The political security situation and social order and safety were maintained, and there were no passive or unexpected situations.

By 7:00 PM on March 15, 2026, all polling stations had completed the voting according to regulations. The whole province had 1,606,360 voters, of which 1,604,289 voters participated in voting, reaching a rate of 99.87%. There were 1,020 electoral groups with a voter participation rate of 100%; 54/65 commune-level units reached a voter participation rate of 100%.

By 6:30 AM on March 16, 2026, 100% of the election team had completed the counting of votes, ensuring the correct order, procedures, publicity, and transparency.

As a result, Khanh Hoa elected all 12/12 delegates out of 20 candidates for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term; 4 National Assembly deputy election committees have made records and sent them to the National Election Council for announcement according to their authority. For the Provincial People's Council, all 67/67 delegates out of 108 candidates were elected.

At the commune level, the whole province elected 1,391/1,392 delegates out of 2,316 candidates for the 2026–2031 term, and there is still a shortage of 1 delegate in Ninh Hoa ward. Currently, commune-level election committees are continuing to complete procedures to announce the results and official lists of winning candidates according to regulations.
