According to the announced results, the election in Gia Lai took place successfully, on schedule, with a high voter turnout.
At Election Team No. 1 - O2 village (Vinh Son commune), early voting was organized from March 14. All 131/131 voters of the village completed voting in the morning, reaching a rate of 100%.
By March 15, 2,178 remaining polling stations throughout the province simultaneously opened from 6:30 am. At the end of the election day, the whole province had 2,418,951 voters participating in voting, reaching a rate of 99.84%. Among them, there were 2,008 polling stations and 96 communes and wards achieving a voter turnout of 100%.

As a result, voters in Gia Lai province elected 16/16 National Assembly deputies of the 16th term according to the correct structure.
For the Provincial People's Council, the locality elected 85 full delegates; of which, re-elected delegates accounted for 41.18%, more than 63% of elected delegates had postgraduate qualifications.
At the commune level, 2,964/2,977 delegates were elected, still lacking 13 delegates compared to the initially estimated number, although the valid vote rate reached 99.74%.
Specifically at constituency No. 8, Tuy Phuoc Bac commune, due to not having enough 2/3 of the delegate number as prescribed, the Commune Election Committee decided to organize an additional election of 1 delegate on March 19.

Ms. Pham Thi To Hai - Director of Gia Lai Department of Home Affairs - said that the entire province only has electoral unit No. 8, Tuy Phuoc Bac commune, which has to organize an additional election of 1 delegate according to the law, because it has not elected enough delegates.
Mr. Thai Dai Ngoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Election Council - said that post-election work will be urgently deployed by the locality. According to him, the results achieved show the unity and trust of the people in the Party and the State.
Mr. Thai Dai Ngoc assigned the Department of Home Affairs to urgently complete the remaining tasks of the election to send to the National Election Council on time as prescribed; prepare the contents for organizing the first session of the Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term.
