On the morning of November 20, the Border Guard of Khanh Hoa province informed that the two fishermen in distress in Nha Trang Bay in the early morning of the same day were found near Hon Tre island.

The authorities brought the two fishermen to shore safely and in stable health.

Earlier, in the early morning of the same day, the fishing boat anchored by the two fishermen was swept out to sea by rising floodwaters.

At that time, prolonged heavy rain and complex thunderstorms directly threatened people's lives.

After receiving the rescue report, the Border Guard coordinated with mobile forces to the scene, searching all night for the two victims.

According to statistics from the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province as of the morning of November 20, floods have killed 10 people and left 2 people missing. The whole province was flooded in many places, some places over 3m.

Since the afternoon of November 19, the water level of the Cai River has risen, rescue work in the wards of Tay Nha Nha, Nam Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, Phan Rang, Suoi Dau, Dien Dien... has encountered difficulties.

During the night of November 19 and this morning, November 20, the water had not receded, and some places were flooded deeper. Thousands of emergency calls from people have been sent to the 112,114 call center and on-site forces.

Rescue work is difficult due to strong water flows, people are stuck in areas, and canoes are difficult to move.
