On September 13, news from the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province said that units are urgently fixing damage points on National Highway 27C through Khanh Le Pass - the road connecting Nha Trang with Da Lat; National Highway 27 through Song Pha Pass and DT. 656 (Provincial Road 9) through Khanh Son Pass to ensure traffic safety before the rainy and storm season.


Mr. Le Thuan Doan - Director of Khanh Hoa Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company, said that the unit is urgently constructing to repair damaged positions on Khanh Le Pass, striving to restore normal traffic on National Highway 27C before this year's rainy season.
To date, functional forces are deploying 12 emergency construction projects and 15 emergency repair projects to overcome damage to traffic infrastructure due to rain and floods.
According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Construction, the biggest difficulty currently is that many locations must be constructed simultaneously, requiring the mobilization of a large amount of machinery, equipment and manpower.
The actual conditions at the scene also made some items unable to be implemented according to the original plan.
In recent days, functional units have been accelerating the repair of damaged locations on National Highway 27C through Khanh Le Pass.
At the negative taluy landslide point near the foot of Khanh Le pass, Nam Khanh Vinh commune, the contractor is constructing reinforced concrete walls on a 1m diameter drilled pile system.
To date, 26/48 piles have been completed. The foundation and retaining wall body are continuing to be deployed.
Over the past time, construction units have mobilized hundreds of workers to split stones, clean up the site, and accelerate the reinforcement of Khanh Le Pass before the 2026 rainy and storm season.To date, the repair and reinforcement of National Highway 27C, including Khanh Le Pass, has reached about 40-50% of the volume.
The heavy rain at the end of 2025 caused about 100 landslide points on the entire Khanh Le pass, forcing functional agencies to blockade it for remediation.
To date, serious landslide locations have been handled; some points continue to be monitored and reinforced.
Khanh Le Pass is 33km long, located on National Highway 27C, 121km long, is a vital route connecting Nha Trang with Da Lat, and is also the shortest route between these 2 tourist destinations.
