Khanh Hoa - The locality has approved the investment policy for the Ring Road 3 project, with a total investment of more than 2,240 billion VND.

On July 21, information from the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province said that the locality has approved the investment policy for the Ring Road 3 project, the section from Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue to Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue.

According to the approved decision, the road has a starting point connecting to Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue and an ending point connecting to Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue.

The project is invested to divert traffic in the southern gateway area of Nha Trang urban area, reduce traffic flow through the central area, and strengthen connectivity with Cam Ranh International Airport and the North-South expressway.

This is a grade I traffic project, urban road with a length of about 5.22km. The road is designed with a speed of 60km/h, some sections 50km/h; high-grade road surface A1 and traffic safety system according to current standards.

The total investment of the project is over 2,240 billion VND, using central budget support combined with local budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026 - 2030.

The project is implemented in Nam Nha Trang ward and is expected to be implemented in the period 2026 - 2030.

According to the approved plan, the project is divided into two component projects. In which, the road construction project has a total capital of more than 1,667.6 billion VND; the land clearance, compensation, support and resettlement project has a total capital of nearly 572.8 billion VND.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board to be the investor of the construction project; Khanh Hoa Land Fund Development Center to implement the site clearance project.

Relevant units are responsible for coordinating synchronous deployment, ensuring progress between site clearance and construction, and periodically reporting to the Provincial People's Committee monthly on the project implementation situation.

When completed, Ring Road 3 is expected to contribute to completing the traffic network according to the plan, expanding urban development space, reducing traffic pressure in the southern gateway area of Nha Trang, and creating room for the development of new urban areas, improving investment attraction, promoting socio-economic development and ensuring local defense and security.
