Khanh Hoa - A locality that identifies the "3 growth poles" development model to create a driving force for balanced and sustainable development.

On the afternoon of June 30, the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province organized a conference to announce the Khanh Hoa Provincial Plan for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that the announcement of the adjustment of the Provincial Plan is not the end point of the planning process but the beginning of a new development stage.

According to the Chairman of Khanh Hoa province, planning is only truly successful when it is concretized by action programs, plans, projects, driving force works, and effective projects, creating positive changes in socio-economic life.

The overarching goal is to improve the quality of life, so that people can enjoy a high standard of living, a harmonious and happy living environment.

According to the approved plan, Khanh Hoa will organize a socio-economic development space according to the "3 growth poles" model in the overall strategy including: "1 common vision, 2 connecting axes, 3 growth poles, 4 driving pillars".

This model aims to ensure balanced and sustainable development, strengthen linkages and maximize the potential and advantages of each region.

The Northern growth pole includes Van Phong Bay area, which is identified as a driving force for large-scale marine industry and logistics development.

The central growth pole includes Nha Trang urban area and Cam Lam - Cam Ranh area, playing a leading role in administration, services, knowledge and coordinating resource flows.

Meanwhile, the southern growth pole includes Phan Rang urban area and the southern key economic region, oriented towards tourism, culture, clean energy, green industry and innovation.

The three growth poles will operate as a complementary system.

According to the plan, 3 growth poles are divided into 5 development driving zones.

In which, the core urban center of Nha Trang orients to expand development space, strengthen connectivity with Dien Khanh, Dien Lac to create development space and complete urban structure.

At the same time, the province orients to expand the Nha Trang - Cam Lam administrative center to expand the space for socio-economic development.

Cam Ranh - Cam Lam area is oriented to become the nucleus of urban - service - tourism - aviation logistics, associated with Cam Ranh International Airport and large-scale sea tourist areas, developing according to the model of airport city - sea tourist city...
