On September 15, the Government Office issued Document No. 8609/VPCP-KTTH, officially assigning the task to relevant agencies to organize the next major event after the recent successful A80 exhibition.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup Corporation and the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) to organize the 2025 Autumn Fair in October.
This decision was made after the resounding success of the National Achievement Exhibition "80 years of Independence - freedom - Happiness" which has just ended. The exhibition has attracted special attention from the public, recording nearly 10 million visitors after only 19 days of opening.
Initially, the event was scheduled to end on September 5, but due to the increasing number of visitors, the Organizing Committee decided to extend it by 10 days to meet the needs of the people.
On an unprecedented scale, this event gathered all 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large economic enterprises and groups.
The success of the A80 exhibition has shown how strongly large-scale political and cultural events have a widespread influence in social life.
Therefore, the organization of the 2025 Autumn Fair is expected to continue to be a prominent mark, attracting the widespread participation of people and tourists.
The exhibition "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" will stop receiving visitors from 4:00 p.m. on September 15.
