In August 2026, the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province requested Corporation 194 to urgently review and implement exemption and reduction of road service fees for vehicles eligible to pass through Cam Thinh BOT toll station in accordance with the policy regulations.

According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Construction, currently in Nam Cam Ranh commune, there are still 57 cases of vehicles on the list of requests for exemption and reduction of service fees through Cam Thinh BOT toll station but have not been implemented by the investor, Construction Investment Corporation 194 Joint Stock Company (Corporation 194) according to the policy.
The Department of Construction said that in the past time, this agency has repeatedly issued documents requesting Corporation 194 to implement exemption and reduction of service prices for vehicles eligible for policies.
However, implementation is still slow, prolonged through many reviews, affecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
This issue has also been reflected twice by people on the Khanh Hoa province's field feedback system.
At the 2nd session of the 8th Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, voters of Nam Cam Ranh commune continued to propose resolving the situation of slow fee exemption and reduction at Cam Thinh BOT toll station.
Notably, on August 12, the Vietnam Road Administration issued a document requesting Corporation 194 to urgently review and coordinate with relevant local agencies to implement exemption and reduction of road service fees for the remaining vehicles according to the direction of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.
In addition to the 57 cases mentioned above, Nam Cam Ranh Commune People's Committee also proposed considering exemption and reduction of road service fees for 18 vehicles owned by officials, civil servants, and organizations working and serving at the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Nam Cam Ranh commune.
The Department of Construction requested Corporation 194 to urgently resolve the recommendations and notify the results to the department for summarization and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee; and at the same time inform the Nam Cam Ranh Commune People's Committee of the results for the locality to notify the people.
Cam Thinh toll station belongs to the project to invest in expanding National Highway 1 section Km1488 - Km1525, invested and operated by Corporation 194 Investment and Construction Corporation and Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company 194 VN in BOT form.
Cases eligible for toll exemption and reduction are vehicles in the area around Cam Thinh BOT toll station, including Cam Thinh Tay commune (old) and Hiep Thanh, Hon Quy, Hoa Son, Hiep My, Hoa Diem, My Thanh villages of Cam Thinh Dong commune (old). Currently, these localities all belong to Nam Cam Ranh commune.
