On September 19, in Truong Ninh commune, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province held an inauguration ceremony for the restoration of the Memorial Site of the Sacrificial Youth (TNXP) at Long Dai ferry terminal.

In a solemn atmosphere, the leaders of Quang Tri province emphasized that this is an important cultural event, an opportunity to express their deep gratitude for the heroic sacrifice of the ASEAN-based ASEAN-based enterprises (now in Hung Yen province) that have fallen for the independence and freedom of the nation.
The project also affirms the determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri in preserving, honoring and promoting the value of revolutionary historical relics.

Long Dai ferry terminal is an important traffic artery in the resistance war against the US. The blood of the brothers and sisters has blended into the river, leaving behind the immortal heroic village on the hot land of Quang Tri.
This renovation project was carried out with a total investment of nearly 20 billion VND, accompanied by T&T Group and many organizations and individuals inside and outside the province.

The scale of the project includes building a new Rice Simulation Memorial with 16 rice plants 16m high, a platform and star block 1.6m high; a ceremony house, a house displaying documents and artifacts; a waiting house, a boat dock, a parking lot; at the same time, renovating and upgrading the Memorial Stele House, gate, fence, a ceremony yard and renovating the entire campus.
Long Dai ferry terminal has been officially recognized as a National Historical Site, becoming an important red address in the revolutionary relic system of Quang Tri, along with Quang Tri Citadel, Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery, and the two banks of Hien Luong - Ben Hai. This will be a place of gratitude, commemoration and traditional education for the younger generation, and at the same time a destination for solidarity in the province's cultural - historical and spiritual tourism route.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Nam - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of the Party, State, ministries, branches and localities, especially Hung Yen province, the homeland of cooperatives, along with relatives of martyrs, former cooperatives, veterans and people who were present to share and offer incense to commemorate. The provincial leaders also sent their sincere thanks to T&T Group and organizations and individuals who have contributed to the project's spacious and sustainable completion.
