On August 11, the working group of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Van Duy - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee and representatives of related ward units visited the Residential Area to encourage and reward 2 groups and 1 individual for their brave achievements and quick handling of the fire that occurred in the ward recently.
Previously, at 1:51 p.m. on July 31, a fire broke out at 13 Co Bac, Hai Chau Ward. As soon as it was discovered, the ward police force and individuals such as Mr. Ho Ngoc Thanh, Mr. Mr. Mr. Ich Truong Chinh, Mr. Tran Van Thanh (People of Nam Vinh 2 Residential Area) and the collective of Long Minh Construction & Trading Consulting Company Limited did not fear the danger, coordinating to use many fire extinguishers of all kinds from the Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Associations, Long Minh Company and people around the area to control and completely extinguish the fire after more than 30 minutes.
It is known that Hai Chau District was previously the pioneer unit of the city to issue and apply the "Instructions for the process of reissuing fire prevention and fighting tools and tools and the work of rewarding individuals/organization participating in fire fighting and rescuing people".
At the above time, Mr. Nguyen Van Duy (Former Vice Chairman of Hai Chau District People's Committee) directly directed and urged the issuance of Guidelines to institutionalize logistics work in a systematic and transparent manner and encourage the "All people fire prevention and fighting" movement in the area, thereby supporting the re-issuance of a large number of fire extinguishers in residential area fire fighting models used to participate in fire fighting.
Inheriting and continuing to promote the achieved achievements, the People's Committee of Hai Chau Ward has proactively developed and perfected the new Guidelines in line with the 2-level local government organization model, ensuring requirements close to reality, meeting practical needs to further promote the fire prevention and fighting models in residential areas that have been built by the locality.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Duy - Chairman of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee emphasized: "Implementing this Guidance is a commitment of the ward government to build a solid solid public fire prevention and fighting situation. We not only call for rivers but also create a specific mechanism for people to feel secure in taking action for the community.
When people bravely rushed in to put out the fire, they knew that immediately after that, there would be a government to accompany, record and support the re-essayment of vehicles. This is how we spread the spirit of courage and responsibility in the whole society".
In addition to the reward, the Ward People's Committee also supported the re-supply of 50 new fire extinguishers to the Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Joint Stock Company, Nam Vinh 2 Residential Area and Long Minh Company. This is a practical action, not only compensating for used vehicles but also directly improving on-site fire prevention capacity for the community. Although there were some difficulties and problems at the beginning of operation, Hai Chau quickly implemented measures to remove them, improve policies, and complete support for the people.
