On the morning of December 2, Mr. Hoang Dang Khoa - Chairman of Lao Cai City People's Committee - came to congratulate and reward the city police force for their excellent achievements in the project to arrest the robber at FPT Shop.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee commended and acknowledged the achievements of the leadership and officers and soldiers of Lao Cai City Police in promptly implementing professional measures, proactively zoning, verifying, clarifying and arresting the perpetrator.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, at around 8:15 p.m. on November 28, Lao Cai City Police received a report from an employee of FPT Shop (address 488, Hoang Lien Street, Kim Tan Ward) about a male subject using a knife to threaten a sales staff and robbed 22 iPhone brand phones with original boxes, worth about more than 800 million VND and more than 60 million VND.
Then, the subject took a sleeper bus from Lao Cai to Hanoi on the night of November 28.
At around 9:30 a.m. on November 29, Vang Ngoc Nhu (born in 1993, residing in group 14, Bac Cuong ward, Lao Cai city) was arrested while carrying the stolen phone to sell.
