On July 9, according to statistics from Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, in the first 6 months of 2026, the work of receiving citizens, handling petitions, and resolving complaints and denunciations in the province continued to be regularly concerned and directed.
Especially the contents related to land, compensation, support, and resettlement, levels and sectors in the province have focused on resolving according to regulations, contributing to ensuring the legitimate rights of people and maintaining the stability of the grassroots situation.
In the first 6 months of the year, levels and sectors received 5,167 visits with 3,831 people to present 2,892 cases of complaints, denunciations, petitions, and reflections. The whole province recorded 23 large-scale delegations with 219 participants.
The province also received 4,735 petitions and has handled them all. Among the 3,772 petitions eligible for handling, there are 3,086 petitions under its authority, including 295 complaints, 29 denunciations and 2,762 petitions and reflections.
The content of petitions mainly focuses on the land sector such as issuing land use right certificates, changing land use purposes, compensation, support, and resettlement when the State recovers land.
Regarding complaints, state administrative agencies have resolved 260/295 cases under their authority, reaching 88.13%.
For crowded, complex, and prolonged cases, the Provincial People's Committee has coordinated with the Government Inspectorate, central ministries, branches and functional agencies to inspect, review, dialogue, and explain policies and laws to the people.
Typically, the case related to 291 households receiving contracts from Gia Lai Coffee Joint Stock Company, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directly dialogued and directed the development of appropriate handling plans.
In the coming time, the province will also promote publicity and transparency in areas prone to lawsuits such as planning, land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement.
