On June 2nd, the Investigation Police Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police announced that it had issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the defendant and temporarily detain Le Thu Hoai (24 years old, residing in Lo Ren village, Dong Dang commune) to investigate the acts of "Disturbing public order" and "Intentionally causing injury".
According to the investigating agency, on May 8, functional forces received a report about Ms. Vu Thi Hang (26 years old, residing in Hoang Van Thu commune, Lang Son province) being attacked with a weapon by a subject and had to be hospitalized for treatment.
Immediately after receiving the information, Dong Dang Commune Police coordinated with the Provincial Police Investigation Agency to urgently verify and clarify the incident.
Initial investigation results determined that at about 10 pm on May 4, due to personal conflicts, Le Thu Hoai and Ms. Hang had an argument and scuffle.

After drinking alcohol at a restaurant in Dong Dang commune, Hoai knew that Ms. Hang was present at a nearby milk tea shop, so he returned home to get a knife and then came to find her.
At the milk tea shop, Hoai continuously swung the knife to attack and chase Ms. Hang. While running away, the victim hit the glass door, injuring her eye area. Not stopping there, Hoai continued to use the knife to slash Ms. Hang's right arm and thumb.
Despite being dissuaded by many people, the subject still had aggressive behavior, cursing, causing insecurity and disorder in the area.
According to the investigation file, Hoai also took another knife to threaten and continued to search for the victim, but was promptly prevented by those around him.
After the incident, Ms. Hang was taken to the emergency room and treated at a medical facility. The investigating agency seized the related weapons to serve the handling. The examination results showed that the total body injury rate of the victim was 3%.
Based on documents and evidence collected, functional agencies determined that Le Thu Hoai's actions not only infringed on other people's health but also adversely affected the security and order situation in the locality, causing unsafety in public places and causing anxiety in public opinion.
Currently, the case is being further consolidated by the Investigation Police Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police to handle according to the provisions of law.
