According to the Ky Anh Commune Police (Ha Tinh Province), at around 5:30 p.m. on August 12, in Yen Son Village (Ky Anh Commune), a man with signs of suddenly cursing and threatening relatives and passersby.
Notably, the subject was holding a homemade knife about 35cm long, causing many people to panic and making traffic through the area difficult.
As soon as the report was received, the Ky Anh Commune Police quickly coordinated with the security and order protection forces at the facility to the scene.
Faced with the potential dangerous situation, officers and soldiers persistently mobilized, persuaded, and skillfully caused the attention to be dispersed and soothed the excessive behavior of the subject.
After about 1 hour of applying professional measures, the Commune Police controlled safety, took the knife, and ensured absolute safety for the participating forces, subjects and surrounding people.
The subject was identified as H.A.D (born in 1986, residing in Yen Son village, Ky Anh commune), a person with signs of mental illness and mental instability.
After that, the Commune Police coordinated with the family to take H.A.D to Nghe An Provincial Mental Hospital for treatment.
