On March 27, the Inspection Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee issued a notice of the 31st session, 20th term. In this notice, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee decided not to take disciplinary action against Mr. Phan Van Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
According to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, implementing the process of reviewing and disciplining Mr. Phan Van Hieu, Party member, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee found that with the responsibility of Party member, Deputy Director of the Department, Mr. Hieu was jointly responsible for the violations and shortcomings of the department's leadership in leading and directing cadres, civil servants, public employees and units under the department to carry out the task of advising the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to manage scientific research and technology development activities and the implementation of inspection and supervision conclusions of competent authorities.
Mr. Hieu is personally responsible for violations and shortcomings in compliance with and not seriously performing the duties of party members; duties of cadres and civil servants according to the provisions of law. Mr. Hieu's violations and shortcomings have led to disciplinary action.
However, through consideration and violation, Mr. Hieu's shortcomings have objective reasons. During the review process, Mr. Hieu had changes in the awareness of individual responsibility; seriously reviewed the Party cell where he worked and lived, took personal responsibility for limitations, shortcomings, and violations and proposed to continue working and striving in the coming time. At the same time, consider the proposal of the Party organization where Mr. Hieu lives; request to stabilize the situation, mood, and ideology of cadres and Party members in the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology after the arrangement and merger. Based on the working regulations and the results of the vote, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee decided not to discipline Mr. Hieu.
Mr. Phan Van Hieu, born in 1973, has a PhD in Economics. From January 2021, Mr. Hieu will hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
