Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vinh - Deputy Executive Director of Truong Son Nam Board - informed that the construction unit has constructed 21km of road with 20 bridges, so far, the construction volume has reached about 71%.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vinh, currently, the contractor has arranged 5 construction teams for the route. The teams are focusing on the unloading and construction stages of crushed stone and asphalt concrete.
As for the bridge, over 90% of progress has been completed, and is currently in the process of paving the bridge deck with asphalt concrete and installing railings, completing the remaining stages.
Currently, there are about 150 engineers and workers working at the construction site with the spirit of "3 shifts, 4 teams", "not enough work during the day, take advantage of working at night". In particular, during this April 30 - May holiday, taking advantage of favorable sunny weather, the unit will continue to carry out construction through the holiday, focusing on construction at all construction sites, and will arrange time for repayment.
"From now until the occasion of April 30, the unit will conduct plastic carpet of paragraph KM49+400 (expected on 25.4).
According to Mr. Vinh, during holidays or overtime, the Corporation will go to the construction site to encourage the spirit and give gifts to engineers and workers, and at the same time have a full salary and overtime regime for everyone.
For the goal of the Prime Minister, on December 19, the Can Tho - Ca Mau highway must be completed, the unit has set specific timelines to strive. Accordingly, on the bridge, it must be completed on June 30, the work of the road and the unloading of roads must be completed on September 30, while the plastic carpet work must be completed before November 30. The remaining days of December will complete the paint line paint and items to ensure traffic safety.
Mr. Nguyen Van Trieu - a worker on the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway shared that despite continuous overtime and teamwork, thanks to the close encouragement from the contractor, the spirit of dedication of the brothers is always burning, trying to speed up the project's progress.
"When we saw the expressway project passing through our locality, we were very excited, expecting the economy to develop much more. Therefore, the workers are trying to encourage each other and work hard to complete the project on schedule, said Mr. Trieu.
According to My Thuan Project Management Board, to date, the construction output has reached 66/70% of the plan. The project has basically removed difficulties and obstacles in materials. In the coming time, all bridges on the route will be completed before April 30. Complete 100% of the work of reloading the entire route on April 30.
Previously, on April 20, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the working delegation inspected the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway. At the inspection, the Prime Minister requested units to continue researching and applying science and technology to shorten loading and construction time, striving to complete it earlier, but must strictly comply with the design, ensure quality, technique, art, environmental protection and must be absolutely safe when putting the project into use.
