State Audit Office commits to accompany Da Nang and Quang Ngai in development

The State Audit Office and Da Nang City, Quang Ngai province continue to sign the Coordination Regulations to better perform the functions and tasks of each party.

This morning (July 11), a preliminary conference and signing of the Work Coordination Regulation between the State Audit Office (SAO) and the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee; the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Quang Ngai province took place in Da Nang.

Speaking at the ceremony, State Auditor General Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized that the signing of the Coordination Regulation is of great significance, showing the high determination of Party committees at all levels, local authorities and SAV in strengthening leadership and direction, managing and using public finances, public assets and local budgets effectively, to contribute to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals of the resolution of the Party Congresses of provinces and cities set out for the 2025-2030 term.

The State Auditor General affirmed that SAV will continue to accompany, support and create favorable conditions for Da Nang city and Quang Ngai province to develop, contributing to creating the common prosperity of the locality. Through this, all parties will contribute more practically and effectively to the development of the country.

Identifying the implementation of the Coordination Regulation with SAV as a regular task, of great significance in improving the quality of management and administration of local authorities, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee emphasized: "Da Nang City will continue to direct agencies and units to proactively coordinate, provide complete and timely information and documents to serve audit activities; seriously receive and implement audit conclusions and recommendations. At the same time, proactively coordinate to handle arising difficulties and obstacles, ensuring that audit recommendations are effectively implemented, contributing to building a transparent, safe and effective public finance system".

Affirming the commitment to strictly implement the Coordination Regulation, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Sam - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee also assessed that the signing of the Coordination Regulation will continue to create a basis for strengthening information exchange, close coordination in building audit plans, limiting overlap between audit activities and inspection and examination. At the same time, improving the quality of management, supervision and effective use of resources to serve local socio-economic development.

On this occasion, State Auditor General Nguyen Huu Nghia awarded the "Commemorative Medal for the Cause of Development of the State Audit" to 14 local leaders, departments, and branches who have made many contributions to the cause of building and developing the State Audit Office.

On the same day, the State Auditor General attended the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of SAV Region III (July 11, 1996 - July 11, 2026) and delivered a directive speech, awarding Certificates of Merit from the State Auditor General to the unit.
