The 62nd ASOSAI Executive Board meeting was attended by 18 delegations of Supreme Audit Agencies (SAIs) under the management of SAI India (ASOSAI President) and SAI China (ASOSAI General Secretary).
In his opening speech, Mr. K. S. Subramanian - Deputy Governor of the State Audit of India - emphasized the central role of cooperation, innovation and capacity development, and called on member SAIs to strengthen cooperation in auditing emerging issues, building a digital data warehouse of experience and good practices in the field of public auditing.
In particular, Mr. K. S. Subramanian highly appreciated the initiative of organizing the first joint meeting between ASOSAI and ARABOSAI on climate change and artificial intelligence hosted by SAI Azerbaijan - this is a testament to the spirit of inter-regional cooperation for sustainable development goals.

At the meeting, members of the Executive Board presented the Financial Reports, Budget Plans, Strategic Plans of ASOSAI and Reports on cooperation with other international organizations.
Also at the Conference, ASOSAI Working Groups on environmental auditing, crisis management auditing, Sustainable Development Goal auditing, state-owned enterprise auditing, information technology auditing and data analysis presented thematic research reports from each Working Group.
In addition, the Special Committee of ASOSAI has issued a Feasibility Study Report on the establishment of a new ASOSAI Working Group on public financial forecasting and assessment; The 14th ASOSAI Research Project "Promoting artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and effectiveness in public auditing activities".

At the meeting, the State Audit of Vietnam, as a member of the ASOSAI Audit Committee for the 2024-2027 term, supervised the election of ASOSAI delegates to run for the International Executive Committee of the Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) for the 2025-2031 term and an external auditor of INTOSAI (INTOSAI External Auditor) for the 2026-2028 term.
As a result, SAI United Arab Emirates and SAI Pakistan were elected to run for the 2021-2031 INTOSAI Executive Board; SAI South Korea was a candidate to participate as an external auditor of INTOSAI for the 2026-2028 term.
