On June 29, Dong Kinh Ward People's Committee held a conference to announce the decision to consolidate the Standing Department of Ky Cung Temple Relic for the term 2025 - 2028.
According to the decision, the Standing Department of Ky Cung Temple relic has 4 members. Mr. Phi Van Hoa, residing in block 11, Dong Kinh ward, was assigned to hold the position of Head of the Standing Department of Ky Cung Temple relic for the term 2025 - 2028.
At the announcement conference, members were assigned specific tasks to ensure the management and service of religious and festival activities at relics takes place in a regular manner.
The personnel consolidation move takes place after a case related to the management and use of donation money at this relic.
Previously, on June 2, the Investigation Security Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police said that it had initiated a criminal case and prosecuted defendants against Ms. Pham Tuyet Le, 64 years old; Ms. Vu Thi Chuyen, 57 years old; Ms. Kieu Thi Thuy Huong, 58 years old, to investigate the crime of "Abusing positions and powers while performing official duties", according to Article 356 of the Penal Code.

Initial verification results show that Ms. Pham Tuyet Le, then Head of the Standing Department of Ky Cung Temple relic, took advantage of her assigned duties to direct Ms. Vu Thi Chuyen and Ms. Kieu Thi Thuy Huong to keep a part of the donation money during periodic counting sessions. The total amount of money kept was determined to be up to billions of VND.
According to the case file, this money was then used to share benefits and be spent on some improper expenses.
During the search, functional forces seized and sealed many documents, books, electronic equipment and more than 500 million VND in cash for investigation.
Lang Son Provincial Police are continuing to expand the case, clarifying cash flow, expenditures considered to be against regulations and the responsibilities of related organizations and individuals.
