In the first three months of 2025, Quang Nam achieved impressive results in many socio-economic fields. Gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated at 27.6 trillion VND, up 7.4% over the same period last year. In particular, the industry - construction sector played a leading role with an increase of 10.1%, while services and tourism recorded many positive signals.
The Index of Industrial Production (IIP) increased by 14.8%, of which the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 11.8%; electricity production and distribution increased by 20.6%. The service sector increased by 8.1%, with the number of tourists reaching 2.24 million (up 10%). Tourism revenue reached VND2,860 billion (up 26%), contributing significantly to economic growth.
Quang Nam has allocated 97% of the public investment capital plan for 2025, but the disbursement has only reached 6.5%. Budget revenue reached VND 5,412 billion (down 4%), while budget expenditure reached VND 6,542 billion (down 3%).
Business activities and investment attraction achieved positive results with 307 newly registered enterprises (up 4.42%), registered capital reached more than 1,426 billion VND. The locality also attracted 10 domestic investment projects (623.68 billion VND) and 4 FDI projects (12.34 million USD).
Quang Nam Education has also achieved many achievements, with 70 national excellent student awards. Many major events such as the 50th anniversary of the province's liberation, the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Party Committee, and tourism promotion programs were solemnly held.
With steady growth, Quang Nam continues to affirm its position as a bright spot in economy and tourism in the Central region.
