Previously, at about 6:30 pm on June 14, fishing vessel QN-90627-TS owned and captained by Mr. Nguyen Van Suu, born in 1973, residing in Phong Coc ward, Quang Ninh province, was moving in the sea area of Cua Dai, Cai Chien commune when it encountered a strong current, causing the vessel to sink.
At the time of the accident, there were 3 people on board, including Mr. Nguyen Van Suu and 2 fishermen: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, born in 1979, residing in Tinh Gia ward, Thanh Hoa province; Mr. Tran Van Vuon, born in 1982, residing in Quang Ha commune, Quang Ninh province.
After receiving a report from the people, Quang Duc Border Guard Station sent 1 motorboat and 6 officers and soldiers urgently to the scene to organize rescue.
The border guard force then coordinated with fishing vessel HP-90650-TS to successfully rescue 3 crew members on vessel QN-90627-TS.
Currently, the health and spirit of the crew members have stabilized.
