On September 22, according to PV's investigation, the Lai Chau Provincial People's Council recently passed a resolution on determining the scope of the border belt in Lai Chau province.
According to the Resolution, the scope of the Lai Chau provincial border belt is determined from the border to the inland, the deepest place is 910m and the narrowest place is 101m.
This area includes the depth and limit points of the border belt belonging to 11 border communes, specifically determined according to VN2000 coordinates, location and distance to the border line.
Specifically, the scope of the border belt belonging to Mu Ca commune has a depth of 274m to 910m (7 limit points); Pa U commune from 480m to 854m (9 limit points); Thu Lum commune from 115m to 821m (20 limit points); Bum Nua commune from 441m to 744m (6 limit points); Hua Bum commune from 350m to 662m (4 limit points); Pa Tan commune from 268m to 800m (8 limit points).
In other localities, Phong Tho commune has a depth of 101m to 491m (12 limit points); Dao San commune from 101m to 610m (9 limit points); Si Lo Lau commune from 105m to 722m (15 limit points); Khong Lao commune has a depth of 679m to 814m (2 limit points) and Sin Suoi Ho commune from 293m to 374m (4 limit points).
The subjects of application according to regulations are Vietnamese agencies, organizations, individuals and foreigners operating in border areas in Lai Chau province.
Regarding implementation, the Provincial People's Council assigned the Provincial People's Committee to organize implementation; and at the same time assigned the Standing Committee of the People's Council, Committees, delegation groups and delegates of the Provincial People's Council to be responsible for comprehensively supervising the implementation of the resolution.
