The accident occurred at 4:00 p.m. on August 28 at km 52+600 of National Highway 10 Hai Phong (from Hung Yen to Hai Phong). The tractor-trailer driven by Mr. N.A.D (born in 1995, residing in Tran Lam, Hung Yen) collided with an electric bicycle traveling in the same direction driven by Ms. N.T.Q (born in 1958, residing in Vinh Bao, Hai Phong). As a result, Ms. Q died on the spot. Initial assessment is that the accident occurred because driver D did not pay attention.
Previously, at 6:10 a.m. the same day, at km 14+500 of Bui Vien Street (Rao 1 Bridge Tunnel) in Hai An Ward, a tragic accident also occurred. At this time, the motorbike driven by Mr. C.M.D (born in 1980, residing in Tan Minh commune, Hai Phong) was traveling in the direction of the roundabout from Le Hong Phong to the Vo Nguyen Giap - Bui Vien roundabout when a traffic accident occurred. As a result, Mr. D died at the scene, the cause has not been determined.
Currently, the authorities are continuing to investigate and clarify the two cases.
