On the morning of April 2nd, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that the locality had just organized a summary of 5 years of implementing Decree 49 and 2 years of implementing Decision 22 of the Prime Minister on community reintegration and credit policies for people who have completed their prison sentences.
In the past 5 years, the whole province has received 8,427 people after serving their prison sentences, receiving career counseling and job introductions.
The Lam Dong Provincial Social Policy Bank has disbursed 57 billion VND for 623 cases of production loans; 124 communes, wards, and special zones maintain effective support models at the grassroots level; more than 2,800 people have individual education; 870 cases have received in-depth psychological support.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh praised the efforts of all levels and sectors in reducing the rate of recidivism, contributing to maintaining security and order in the area.
It is necessary to mobilize more strongly social resources, especially the companionship of businesses in receiving reformed workers," Mr. Nguyen Minh emphasized.
In the coming time, Lam Dong province determines to continue to innovate propaganda work, replicate effective models, and at the same time implement good credit policies so that reformed people have the opportunity to stabilize their sustainable lives.
On this occasion, the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 4 individuals; the Director of the Provincial Police awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 10 individuals with typical achievements in community reintegration work.
